About
Kawya Erandi is a Sri Lankan musician, composer, sound designer, audio engineer and vocalist — a complete music-maker who shapes a song from its first hum to its final master. She holds a BSc in Performing Arts (Music) from the University of Performing Arts.
Her voice first rose to national attention on television stages — Derana Little Star, The Voice Sri Lanka (Season 3) and Derana Dream Star (Season 11, Final 60) — a journey that also includes 3rd place at the All Island Music Competition and multiple provincial wins in music & dancing.
Beyond the stage, Kawya writes and produces her own originals, re-produces and distributes tracks such as Marathondi and Wahi Pabalu, and works behind the console — composing four original theme songs and handling complete audio post-production & sound design for a short-film project with IMORA Productions.
